We’re Hiring: Field Engineer – Kiosk Operations

Join us in ensuring seamless operations of our self-service payment kiosk network! We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Field Engineer who can install, maintain, and troubleshoot kiosks to ensure maximum uptime and service reliability.

Main Purpose of the Job

  • Ensure high uptime and operational reliability of self-service payment kiosks.
  • Provide timely on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services.
  • Support business growth through efficient technical operations and infrastructure readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical complaints and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair kiosk components (cash acceptor, receipt printer, biometric devices, UPS, etc.).
  • Achieve a high first-time fix rate to minimise repeat visits.
  • Install and configure new kiosks and peripherals as per company standards.
  • Set up and test LAN / 4G connectivity before handover.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance visits (monthly for standard sites).
  • Identify and resolve potential issues before they cause downtime.
  • Manage spare parts responsibly and ensure accurate usage reporting.
  • Return faulty components and maintain proper documentation.
  • Log all complaints, repairs, and parts usage in Odoo/ticketing system.
  • Submit service reports with proper notes and supporting evidence (photos).
  • Suggest improvements to reduce repeat failures and enhance uptime.
  • Maintain professional conduct and service standards during site visits.

Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting (ATMs, kiosks, POS devices, or similar).
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN, routers, 4G connectivity).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned territories.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with Odoo or ticketing systems preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma / DAE / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in field engineering, ATM/kiosk servicing, or technical support.
  • Experience in fintech, payment systems, or self-service devices will be preferred.
